We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to support our Employee Brand efforts to help grow and engage our target audiences across our Career channels. This person will play a key role in building our position as a leading financial service company, and the Best Place to Work amongst investors, media, and potential candidates.

You will improve employer brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth through targeted content production and distribution around social posts, community engagement and social listening while sharing a variety of content such as educational content, advocacy programs, employee spotlights, community support, etc. with the intention of driving awareness to targeted talent audiences who will ultimately apply to work with us or refer others. You will bring creative ways to insert our Employee Brand into authentic conversations that increase employment consideration amongst targeted industries.

To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for social media and a relentless thirst for telling a compelling brand story that drives engagement with employees and candidates as well as industry audiences. You must be someone who understands the value of Employer Brand and passionate about executing brand-building programs in social media. You are an expert in existing social media channels, plus you are constantly learning about emerging platforms and how to leverage them. You are strategic, creative, and you love to experiment and iterate to find what works. You are a collaborator and resourceful to understand the company, the department, the leader, etc. to share authentically on the Careers social platforms and you know how to leverage data to drive strategy and measure ROI to create effective and efficient campaigns.

 

The Role:

Reporting to the Director, Social Media and Community and in close partnership with our Manager, Employer Brand and Talent Attraction, you will develop monthly campaigns that align with the Social Media Employer Strategy to support the strategic priorities and overall hiring goals of Freedom Financial Network.

Manage our Careers social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.

Build and nurture an engaged community of passionate employee brand ambassadors and amplify their voices on owned channels. Collect, curate and amplify relatable, authentic employee stories and integrate UGC across organic social.

Develop an educational strategy to educate and train employees about social media best practices within the Employee Advocacy program

Expand our social audience by developing compelling content to increase quality followers and engagement. This may include developing and executing paid, targeted campaigns.

Monitor, listen, and respond to audience comments and direct messages.

Act as the liaison of social support for HR/Recruiting and Comms Teams 

Develop relevant, newsworthy content to insert our employer brand into conversations around Freedom Financial Network as a Best Place to Work. Promote content via organic social media and owned channels.

Develop full employee brand social media campaign strategy on content that is tailored to each audience for each platform that speaks our followers, plant the seed of who we are as an employer that will prompt them to share our content, share our jobs, apply for our jobs and join our company. 

Stay on top of trends, news, and conversations in the social media space

Maintains a collaborative, partnership driven relationship with the talent acquisition leadership team and provides regular updates on overall strategy and results.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years relevant experience in organic social media marketing.

Demonstrated success leveraging social media to tell breakthrough brand-level stories. Well-versed in social media platforms strategy, best practices, functionality, technology, and algorithms.

Relevant social media experience in Employment Brand.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.

You are a great team player, with a positive collaborative spirit and a roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as journalism, media, writing, or production.
