Senior Reporting Accountant (Remote Work From Home)
Freedom is seeking a Senior Accountant - Reporting for the Center of Excellence (COE) controllership team. The COE is a dynamic team that supports accounting operations across all business units performing technical accounting research, internal control for financial reporting (ICFR), governance, financial reporting, financial reviews and special projects. Our ideal candidate will bring his/her accounting expertise to build and scale processes for best in class performance supporting the growth of the company.

- Compiles monthly financial reporting packages and regulatory reporting.
- Builds and maintains financial and key performance indicator reports.
- Manages stakeholder financial reviews with support of the accounting and FP&A teams.
- Supports year-end and interim audits performed by independent auditors.
- Maintains financial trackers, record management, and financial calendars.
- Navigates complex accounting topics supporting technical policy research and memorandums.
- Supports implementation of GAAP.
- Leads special projects covering process optimization, implementations and integrations.
- CPA required, MBA plus
- Oracle experience and Oracle OTBI/Hyperion Reporting experience a plus
- SEC Reporting a plus
- 3+ years of public audit experience
- Familiarity with technical accounting topics and consolidation principles
- Advanced excel and documentation skills
- Financial services industry experience a plus

Colorado Residents: The general salary range for this role is $90k - $100k and will be determined commensurate to experience and qualifications.
