Freedom Financial Network began in 2002 with Brad Stroh and Andrew Housser and has rapidly expanded to a vibrant business that employs over 2000 employees in two locations: San Mateo, CA and Tempe, AZ. Vance Rodgers

I’m a former active-duty Army Ranger from the 2nd Ranger Battalion.  During my military career, I never had a bad leader.  They either showed me what to emulate or not to emulate.  When I left the military, I proceeded to college and started my own company developing custom CRMs for local AZ companies.  After eight years, I decided to close shop and enter the corporate world to learn and advance, joining startups and then established publicly traded companies.  I remember driving by the Freedom Financial building to and from my prior employer while telling myself I would work there.  I had looked up Freedom Financial online and found they were one of the top companies rated by employees, and all the tech jobs available told me they were doing something special there, and maybe I could lend my skills.  I had gone through some initial rounds of interviews but had to pull my name because the current project I was working on with my current employer got complicated, and I couldn’t leave my team.  Once that project was safe, I resubmitted my resume and was brought into an engineering leadership role within IT here at Freedom.  You could feel something special from the first few days just from the new employee onboard experience.  Within weeks I was leading a project guided by a co-CEO directly. I saw that company values weren’t just words on a wall for prosperity but an identity of the CEOs themselves.  The leadership they were bringing in was intelligent and contained vast experience while also upholding those same company values.  Many companies are similar in aspects of some work, but I find that the culture makes it worth the journey with Freedom.  We truly are trying to help the customer be their best self, and the employees be their best selves too.  Some of the stuff we have lined up is truly amazing.

42 Volunteers packaged approximately 19,000 nutritious MannaPack meals designed to assist in reversing and preventing undernutrition during our 2 hour session.

We built two children size playhouses that were donated to the Peninsula Family YMCA and the Daly City Partnership, a non-profit in Daly City providing services for youth and families.
