THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Investor Reporting leader will act as liaison between existing investors and the Freedom Financial Asset Management (FFAM). You will facilitate the process of selling assets to investors which includes allocating assets across investors, fund tracking, and reporting. Through this work, you will support the sales team, underwriting team, and management team to hit the company’s monthly funding goals.

Beyond the day to day, you will work to onboard new investors, and expand existing relationships. This includes investor due diligence, working cross-functionally within the organization, and bettering our current procedures.

You will work closely with all domains and teams within the FFAM organization. You will contribute as an early member of the investor operations team and build for growth.

You are a strategic thinker with a growth mindset who loves a good puzzle or riddle.

THE ROLE:

  • Oversee and produce the internal and external financial reporting requirements, including the monthly servicing reports for securitizations.
  • Engage with investors around portfolio performance data, by providing large data sets for them to analyze, and then provide any assistance with that analysis.
  • Establish and document processes based on industry best practices.
  • Onboard new investors, by answering any questions around data access and processing them into the internal systems.
  • Identify and develop business cases for strategic growth opportunities and operational improvements critical to our success
  • Navigate various internal systems in order to execute all service requests
  • Provide basic technical support to assist investors with troubleshooting issues
  • Suggest day to day operational improvements and work on ad hoc projects
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and research data from various sources to resolve investor inquiries
  • Work with product management and engineering to improve data integrity and accessibility.

REQUIREMENTS/CHARACTERISTICS:

  • 3-5 years of financial services banking, trade desk, or similar related experience. Investor relations at a fintech company is a plus.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel, SQL highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong desire to provide a positive experience to investors
  • Ability to see value where others may not and can clearly articulate that value
  • You are analytical and smart about process improvement
  • You think like an owner and are focused on future growth
